There are some sessions that leave a lasting impression, not just because of the beautiful pictures but because of the beautiful people in them. I’ve been sitting on this post for far too long, but today, I’m finally sharing one of the most genuine, heartfelt engagement sessions I had the honor of capturing.
From the moment I saw Anna & Austin together I knew their love was something special. They have a way of looking at each other that speaks volumes without saying a word.
What struck me the most during this session wasn’t just their chemistry (which, trust me, was undeniable); it was just how comfortable they were in their own skin and with each other.
When I first spoke with Anna & Austin about their engagement session, we knew we wanted a location that was vibrant. We decided on The Greenhouse at Arrow Farms, the newest wedding venue in the Lillington, NC area, and it did not disappoint!
The venue is a dream come true—a blend of modern elegance and natural charm. The greenery and open spaces made it the perfect backdrop.
The forecast had promised clear skies, but as we got closer to the venue, the drizzle began. At first, I worried how the rain might affect our plans, but Anna and Austin didn’t skip a beat. Instead of letting it dampen their spirits, they embraced it—and honestly, it made their session even more magical. By looking at the pictures you could not tell. They were absolute troopers. They laughed, danced, and leaned into every moment, reminding me once again why I love photography.
Austin & Anna, thank you for trusting me to document this special time in your lives. I cannot wait for your big day at The Hartwood in Pine Level! Your willingness to go with the flow (literally, thanks to the rain!) and your genuine love for each other made this session one of my favorites.
